Announcer:Zhongjian   Release time:2023-8-4 1:49:30

On 29 June 2022, the long-awaited EU Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 was published in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) to address the technological evolution of digitally connected and intelligent machinery in Europe.

The Machinery Regulation was previously adopted by the Council of the European Union on 22 May 2022, and after implementation, it will replace the existing EU Machinery CE Directive 2006/42/EC, which will be formally enforced from 19 July 2023, with a transition period of 42 months. That is to say, on 14th January 2027, the latest Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 will become mandatory.
